Matt Fisher was very responsive and professional from start to finish. He quickly returned my calls and e-mailed me when he said he would. Matt e-mailed an estimate based on square footage and his references. I just purchased this home and needed to schedule the work within a certain week. I choose Fisher Hardwoods because they were the most responsive company that could do the work in my time frame. Their price on oil-based finish was comparable to other contractors. They arrived on time (actually slightly early). Matt and I walked through the rooms to review the work. The crew members were polite and professional. They prepped by taping up wires and removing doors. They completed the work in two days (all the sanding and first coat on day 1; two coats on day 2), which was under the estimated time of 3 days. The floors look great. The stains which Matt indicated might not come out, did disappear through sanding. I appreciate that Matt didn’t over promise on the results. The house was left clean and in great shape.

Matt Fisher and his crew refinished our 1st floor hardwood floors. He was prompt for our first meeting, did an excellent job on the floors, and followed up when I had questions. He was professional every step of the way and delivered excellent service. Our floors are lovely after being scratched by our dogs running through the house, but now they look new. I strongly recommend this company for its service and product. From the time we met, our floors were finished in two weeks. He met our schedule by doing the job during a planned absence. All went as planned.
